Pinot Noir & Chardonnay,
perfectly composed
Waveform creates a spectrum of compelling wines from singular vineyard sites across the Willamette Valley.
Wines formed by exceptional vineyard sites
Our goal is to showcase fruit from the finest high-elevation vineyards across Oregon’s Willamette Valley.
This includes dry-farmed Pinot Noir from old vine vineyards in the Dundee Hills, as well as organically farmed Chardonnay from Dundee Hills and Eola-Amity Hills.
All of the vineyards we partner with are rooted in Jory soil, a rich red clay that contributes character and deep minerality to our wines.
Wines formed by seasoned winemakers
We cut no corners in our winemaking. Our winemakers have decades of experience working with the best Willamette Valley fruit, and it shows in our approach.
When producing our Pinot Noir, we macerate and cold-soak the berries for 5 days before starting native yeast fermentation. When fermentation is complete, we only use free run juice and a light first press, transferring the wine into lightly used French oak barrels for 10 months élevage. We select only our favorite barrels for each year’s release.
Our Chardonnay goes through native yeast fermentation in large-format French oak, followed by a first press into lightly used French oak barrels for 11 months élevage on the lees with occasional bâtonage. This adds additional texture and depth.
